Why CNC machining parts are so expensive is related to the number of processing, processing time, material cost, installation time, and other design factors.
1) Processing quantity
The price is definitely different for small pieces and bulk.
2) Processing time
The longer the processing time of aluminum alloy parts, the higher the cost of CNC. Machining time is the main driver of CNC costs.
3) Material cost
Blank material cost is an important part of CNC machining cost. Material costs can be reduced by optimizing the design to use standardized billets as much as possible and reducing waste. At present, the price of aluminum alloy is relatively moderate and one of the raw materials that is easy to process.
4) Installation time
When the machining of CNC parts is small, the preparation of geometric models and the planning of machining process seriously affect the CNC cost of machining aluminum alloy parts. This part of the cost is a fixed cost, which can be shared through mass production.
5) Other design factors
When the CNC part machining design has special requirements (such as precision tolerance requirements and thin-wall design), the need to use special tools, more precise quality control, lower machining speed, and more complex machining steps, which will seriously affect the CNC cost.
